Guardian Caps

The Titan Touchdown Club is working hard this off-season raising funds for Titan players safety!

You may have heard that there is "no off-season!" This couldn't be more true when it comes to the Titan Touchdown Club. The off-season is a great opportunity for the TTC to provide the necessary resources our football program desperately needs. After hearing an idea by Coach Newcomb to improve player safety the TTC decided to make this idea a reality!

Coach Newcomb would like to outfit EVERY player this upcoming season with Guardian Caps. Guardian Caps fit over each players helmet and can help reduce impact injuries by up to 33%. The Guardian Cap is a closed-cell polyurethane foam covering that affixes to the helmet. Some major college universities such as the Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M Aggies, and the Arkansas Razorbacks have all purchased caps for their football program for this upcoming 2019 season. There are approximately 1,000 high schools throughout the Nation currently using Guardian Caps.

Coach Newcomb's desire to improve player safety is a benefit to us all. It is up to us as a community to provide funding to the Titan Touchdown Club to make Guardian Caps a part of the 2019 season. So how can the Stevenson Titan Football #FAMILY help?

Visit our website and social media pages to keep up to date on current and ongoing fundraisers. Then participate in these events and have fun knowing your donation will always benefit the Stevenson Titan Football Program!
